This is the Easiest Pumpkin Spice Cake! It’s so good and so quick to make. This moist cake takes just 4 ingredients and 5 minutes to prep using a box cake mix! You’ll make this over and over again just for a nice fall treat or snack. We even eat it for breakfast, it’s a great dessert for Thanksgiving or any time. Bring this to a fall potluck and everyone will be asking you for the recipe!
I use the Duncan Hines brand of cake mix since it’s the 15.25 oz. size and other cake mixes are around 13oz. It always comes out perfect and there’s no need to add any extra spices!

You will need:
1 (15.25 oz.) box Duncan Hines Spice Cake Mix
1 (15 oz.) can pure pumpkin (not pumpkin pie)
3 eggs
¼ cup applesauce
8 oz. Cool Whip (thawed) *optional
Caramel sauce *optional
Candy pumpkins *optional
Directions for Super Easy Pumpkin Spice Cake:
First add the cake mix to a large mixing bowl. Add the pumpkin puree, eggs and applesauce.
Now mix with a hand mixer until thoroughly combined.
Spread the batter in a 9×13 baking pan coated with non-stick spray.
Bake in a preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the middle of the cake comes out clean.
Cool completely and spread the Cool Whip on top of the cake if desired. Top with caramel sauce and a candy pumpkin.
