MINI PIES IN A JAR

April 22, 2018 by Party Pinching

These mini fruit pies in a jar are not only one of the cutest desserts ever, they are embarrassingly easy to make!  Unlike most pies in a jar, these pies are not baked in the jar.

  1.  Scoop out pie (including some crust) and fill each jar about 3/4 full.
  2. Unroll pie dough and cut small heart shapes using cookie cutter.
  3. Mix sugar & cinnamon together.
  4. Place small hearts on cookie sheet lined with parchment paper and sprinkle sugar & cinnamon mix on top.
  5. Bake at 375 degrees for about 5 minutes or until lightly golden.
  6. Pipe Cool Whip onto the top of each jar before serving (I did this about an hour before the party).
  7. Top with pie crust hearts.
