As a tribute to Dolly, I just had to make her Cuppa Cuppa Cuppa Cake. This cake was made famous from the movie Steele Magnolias when Dolly’s character Truvy explained how to make it. With only 3 ingredients it is so simple and sweet and my whole family just absolutely loved it. A cuppa flour, a cuppa sugar and a cuppa fruit cocktail. And Dolly also recommends a scoop of vanilla ice cream to “cut the sweetness” and it really does!
Dolly was a National Treasure and I have admired her for so many reasons. Her talent, her heart, her strength, her giving spirit and her generosity. Thank you Dolly, the world is so much sweeter because of you.
