CANDY CANE FOREST CUPCAKES

These Candy Cane Forest Cupcakes are a must-have for watching the Elf movie this Christmas! Have the kiddos decorate these cupcakes, they are so easy to do, even your littlest elf will be able to make one! You can bake the cupcakes yourself, or you can pick up some from your local grocery store. It’s easy to make these with just a few fun ingredients for decorating!

You will need:

• 7  cupcakes with white frosting
• White sparkling sugar sprinkles
• Flaked coconut
• Mini candy canes
• 3 Little Debbie Christmas Tree Cakes
• Cut-out of Buddy the Elf (I found mine on Google images and printed it out).
• Lollipop sticks
• Gumdrops

1.  Spread  the frosting evenly on top of the cupcake.
2.  Press on some sweetened flaked coconut.
3.  Sprinkle the top of the cupcake with white sparkling sugar sprinkles.
4.  For 4 of the cupcakes, push in 2 mini candy canes at an angle for each cupcake.
5.  Glue the cut-out of Buddy the Elf onto a lollipop stick and push into the middle of one cupcake.
6.  Insert lollipop or popsicle sticks into the bottom end of the Little Debbie Christmas Tree Cakes.
7.  Push the Christmas Tree Cakes into the remaining cupcakes.
8.  Arrange cupcakes on a platter and scatter gumdrops around the cupcakes.
