Shark Marshmallow Pops! These sweet marshmallow sharks were inspired by a real shark – Barbara Corcoran, the star of the television show “Shark Tank”. But she’s really not a shark, no sir, she’s one of the nicest people on the planet. She believed in a little guppy like me and was sweet enough to endorse BOTH of my books, Sweet Treats for the Holidays and Party with Sweet Treats.

SHARK MARSHMALLOW POPS
You will need:
- 12 regular size marshmallows
- 1 (1.5 oz.) can silver mist food coloring spray
- Red sugar sprinkles
- ½ cup white candy coating wafers
- 3 black Necco Wafer candies
- 24 candy eyes
- 12 Baby Goldfish Crackers
- 12 lollipop sticks
Directions:
- Lightly spray marshmallow with silver food coloring mist
- With kitchen shears, make a cut 1/3 of the way down from the top of the marshmallow that goes ¾ of the way into the marshmallow for the mouth. Be careful that the cut does not go all of the way through.
- Pour red sugar sprinkles onto a shallow plate. Carefully open the mouth and press the cut sides down into the red sprinkles to coat the inside.
- Melt white candy coating wafers according to package instructions
- Cut the black Necco Wafer candy into quarters, first in ½ and then again in ½ for the fins. These may break when cutting so you may need to keep a few more black ones on hand.
- Attach Necco Wafer fin to the back of the shark pop with melted candy coating.
- With a toothpick dipped in candy coating, secure 2 of the candy eyes to the top of the shark pop.
- Place a small amount of melted candy coating on one side of a baby goldfish cracker and place inside the shark’s mouth.
- Push a lollipop stick into the bottom of the shark marshmallow.
