December 1, 2016 by Party Pinching

Pretty Oreos are a kid friendly craft that taste great and they make an excellent after school snake.

Pretty Oreos

Pretty Oreos are a kid friendly treat that is fun to make!

For your Pretty Oreos recipe you will need:

Oreos

Vanilla CANDIQUIK

Chocolate Transfer Sheets

Pretty Oreos

1.     Melt CANDIQUIK in microwave according to package instructions.  I like to pour some in a deeper container and dip Oreo in CANDIQUIK until completely submurged.  Lift out with fork and tap against the container to remove excess coating.

2.     Slide covered Oreos onto parchment paper.

Pretty Oreos

Pretty Oreos can be decorated with paper transfers which make an excellent after school project for kids and a tasty treat as well!

3.     Cut an Oreo size square of chocolate transfer paper. you can use many different transfers for your Pretty Oreos.

I purchase mine from ShopBakersNook.com

Pretty Oreos

4.     While the CANDIQUIK coating is still wet, place chocolate transfer paper, pattern side down and press to make sure it is completely covering the top of the Oreo.

5.    Let dry completely.  Carefully peel off the transfer paper and you have a beautiful little cookie!
