Everyone loves this Patriotic Jello pie, it’s so light and refreshing too – perfect for a warm summer’s day!
You will need:
For crust
1 ¼ c graham cracker crumbs
¼ c granulated sugar
1/3 cup melted butter
Cooking spray
For the pie
3T berry blue Jell-o granules (about ½ of a 3oz.box)
3 T strawberry or cherry Jell-o granules (about ½ of a 3 oz. box)
1 (0.25 oz.) packet unflavored gelatin
4 (8 oz.) tubs Cool Whip
½ tsp vanilla extract
½ TB granulated sugar
water
Red, white and blue sprinkles
Maraschino cherries
9″ Springform pan

Prepare crust by mixing the graham cracker crumb, ¼ cup granulated sugar and melted butter together. Press mixture in the bottom of a springform pan coated with cooking spray. Place in refrigerator to set for about 30 minutes.
Meanwhile, place the blue Jell-o powder in a large bowl and pour in 1/3 cup boiling water. Whisk until granules are fully dissolved, about 2 or 3 minutes. Add ½ cup ice cold water and mix until mixture is cool.
Fold in 1 (8 oz.) tub of Cool Whip until thoroughly combined and place bowl in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
After 30 minutes, evenly spread the blue mixture onto the graham cracker crust for the first layer.
Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before starting white layer.
Now place the unflavored gelatin and ½ TB granulated sugar in a large bowl. Pour in 1/3 cup boiling water and whisk until granules are fully dissolved. Add ½ cup ice cold water and whisk until cool.
Fold in 1 (8 oz.) tub of Cool Whip and ½ tsp vanilla extract until thoroughly combined and place bowl in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
After 30 minutes, evenly spread the white mixture on top of the blue layer.
Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before starting red layer.
Next place the red Jell-o powder in a large bowl and pour in ½ cup boiling water. Whisk until granules are fully dissolved. Add ½ cup ice cold water and whisk until cool.
Fold in 1 (8 oz.) tub of Cool Whip until thoroughly combined and place bowl in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
After 30 minutes, evenly spread the red mixture on top of the white layer.
Refrigerate for 4 hours or overnight.
Decorate with the remaining Cool Whip, red, white and blue sprinkles and maraschino cherries if desired.
