You will need:
12 frosted cupcakes
Rolo candy
Lindt white chocolate truffles
White frosting
Multi-color nonpareil sprinkles
Red candy coating wafers
White pearl sprinkles
White heart sprinkles
Toothpicks
Styrofoam block
Directions for Lindt Chocolate Gumball Machines
First, melt red candy coating according to package instructions, making sure to reserve a dozen wafers
Next, place a toothpick in the bottom of the Rolo candy
Now dip the Rolo in the melted candy coating and tap off the excess. Place toothpick in the Styrofoam block to dry.
Then, using a knife, lightly spread white frosting on one half of the white Lindt Truffle.
Next, pour the multi-colored nonpareil sprinkles in a small bowl. Roll the frosted truffle in the bowl of sprinkles to coat half of the truffle.
Now using the melted candy coating, attach the truffle, sprinkle side down to the top of the coated Rolo.
Then attach the white pearl sprinkle to the middle of the red candy coating wafer.
Next, attach the red wafer to the top of the truffle using melted candy coating. Then, using a toothpick dipped in melted candy coating, attach the white heart sprinkle to the middle of the Rolo
Finally, place the gumball machine on top of a cupcake if desired and sprinkle the top with the multi-colored sprinkles.
Now you have the cutest Lindt chocolate gumball machine cupcakes! These are so cute as toppers or just on their own. Adorable for Valentine’s Day with a little note saying “I Chews You!”
