My Better than Crumbl Pink Holiday Cookies will be the hit of your next holiday party, family gathering or office party! They are actually BETTER than Crumbl’s pink cookie (according to all of my reviews on Pinterest) and everyone loves them. These cookies are the first to disappear and people rave about them!

You will need:
For the Cookie:
½ c butter softened
¼ c oil
¾ c granulated sugar
3 T powdered sugar
1 egg
1 ¼ tsp vanilla
2 ½ c flour
½ tsp baking powder
¼ tsp baking soda
¼ tsp cream of tartar
Cookie Icing
½ c softened butter
2 c powdered sugar
2 to 3 T heavy cream or milk
¼ – ½ tsp almond extract
Pink food coloring
*optional clear sugar sprinkles
*optional white fondant and fondant snowflake cutter
Cookie Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
In a medium bowl, combine all of the dry ingredients.
In a stand mixer, cream together butter, oil and sugars until fluffy
Beat in the egg and vanilla extract.
Slowly add the dry mixture until just thoroughly combined.
Using a ¼ measuring cup, scoop the dough and roll into a ball. Place on a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper and flatten the dough. (I like to round my edges a little bit so they don’t look smashed)
Place 6 cookies to each pan and bake at 350 degrees for 9-12 minutes.
Cool completely.
Frosting Directions:
For the frosting, cream the butter and sugar together until smooth. Add the heavy cream and almond extract. Blend until you are happy with the consistency, using more cream or sugar.
Mix in 3-4 drops of pink food coloring or until you are happy with the color.
Spread frosting on cooled cookies and chill in refrigerator.
** Decorate tops with clear sugar sprinkles and fondant snowflakes if desired.
