Easter Puppy Chow Mix IS FOR PEOPLE ONLY! NOT FOR DOGS PLEASE!!
It’s so easy to make and adding R.M. Palmer’s Party Pal Easter Puppy Double Crisp chocolate eggs makes it special!
Puppy chow is one of our favorite snacks. (not for dogs please) Cereal that is coated with peanut butter, chocolate and powdered sugar, who wouldn’t love this yummy snack! Adding our favorites, makes it a fun mix!

You will need:
1 (12 oz) box Chex cereal, corn or rice
1 (12 oz) bag semi-sweet chocolate chips.
3/4 cup creamy peanut butter
1/2 cup butter
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 (2 lb) bag powdered sugar – use more or less to taste.
Popcorn (about 10 cups)
Candy coating (any color), melted
Sprinkles
2-3 bags of R.M. Palmer Party Pals Easter Puppies filled with Double Crisp chocolate foiled covered eggs
1 ½ cups pastel-colored mini marshmallows Any other of your favorite snacks like peanuts, pretzels, etc.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR CHOCOLATE PEANUT BUTTER PUPPY CHOW:
Microwave chocolate chips, peanut butter & butter together in a bowl for 1 minute. Stir until smooth.
If mixture isn’t completely smooth, microwave at 10 second intervals until melted.
Stir in vanilla extract.
Pour the Chex cereal in an extra-large bowl.
Pour the chocolate peanut butter mixture over the Chex cereal. Stir to thoroughly combine.
Mix in powdered sugar to cover cereal completely.
Place popcorn and chocolate eggs on a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper. Now drizzle melted candy coating all over popcorn.
Immediately shake on the sprinkles before the candy coating dries.
Let the candy coating dry completely (you can refrigerate it for 15 minutes to speed up the process)
Mix together the puppy chow, popcorn, chocolate eggs and marshmallows.

Store in an airtight container for up to 3 weeks but our Easter Puppy Chow Mix never lasts that long!
