- Roll out dough and cut out bunny and carrot shapes using cookie cutters.
- Bake according to your recipe. Let cool completely.
Royal icing recipe:
- 3 tablespoons meringue powder
- 4 cups sifted confectioners’ sugar
- 6 tablespoons water
- Beat all ingredients at low speed for about 8 to 10 minutes, or until icing forms peaks.
- Mix in food coloring gel to get the color you want. (I use a toothpick full. A little goes a long way)
- This icing hardens quickly so be sure to keep the icing covered with a wet towel or place in plastic bag.
