This is my mom’s beef wontons recipe and everyone absolutely LOVES it!! These are THE BEST beef wontons ever. Great as an appetizer or a meal. Just serve with rice, kimchi or a stir fry. There are never any leftovers, in fact, the whole family just gathers around whoever is frying them and they never hit a plate!

You will need:

Directions:
1 pound ground beef
½ tsp garlic powder
½ tsp onion powder
3-4 green onion chopped
½ tsp beef bouillon granules
4 TB low sodium soy sauce
Salt and pepper to taste
Vegetable oil
14 oz package Wonton wrappers
1 egg
wax paper
Combine the ground beef, garlic & onion powders, green onion , beef bouillon granules, salt & pepper and soy sauce in a bowl.
Place about a Tablespoon of the meat mixture in the middle of a wonton wrapper
Crack the egg in a small dish. Dip your finger in the egg white and wipe the egg whites around the edges of the wrapper.
Fold the wrapper in half and press the edges together to seal making sure there are no air bubbles.
Place on wax paper until ready to fry
In a large frying pan filled halfway with vegetable oil, fry wontons over medium heat until golden brown, about 3 or 4 minutes each side. Don’t overcrowd the pan.
Remove wontons and place on wire rack.
Makes about 50 beef wontons
