These Shamrock Unicorn Cookies are adorable and there is no baking required so they are super easy to make! Everyone loves Oreos so these make the perfect treat! (Printable recipe below)
This is a fun edible craft that the kids can help make too! No fancy decorating skills needed!
You will need:

- Oreos
- White candy coating
- Black food writer
- White fondant
- Green fondant
- Gold food coloring mist
- Mini shamrock cutter
- Mini teardrop cutter
- Green & gold sprinkles
- *OPTIONAL: edible gold glitter dust
- Food-safe paint brush
Step-by-Step Directions:
Melt white candy coating according to package instructions. Dip Oreo in the melted white candy coating with a fork and tap off excess.
Place dipped cookie on parchment paper. Let dry completely.
Using the black food writer, draw the unicorn eyes on the cookie.
Roll out fondant into 2 small sausage shapes, and taper one end.
Next pinch tapered ends together.
Wind the fondant rolls around each other.
Trip the base of the horn with a knife. Let dry completely.
Spray fondant horn with gold food coloring mist.
*Optional: With a food safe brush, dust edible gold glitter dust on horn.
Attach horn to top of cookie using melted candy coating.
Roll out white fondant and using the small teardrop shaped cutter, cut out the ears.
Spray a little gold food coloring mist into a small dish, and using the brush dipped in the mist, paint on the inner ears.
Attach ears to cookie with melted candy coating.
Roll out green fondant. With the mini shamrock cookie cutter, cut out shamrock shape.
Using a toothpick dipped in melted candy coating, attach shamrock to the base of the horn.
Using a toothpick dipped in melted candy coating, decorate cookie with assorted sprinkles.

Ingredients
- Oreos
- White Candy Coating
- Black food writer
- White fondant
- Green fondant
- Gold food coloring mist
- Mini shamrock cutter
- Mini teardrop cutter
- Assorted sprinkles
- **Optional: Gold edible glitter dust
Instructions
- Melt candy coating according to package instructions.
- Dip Oreo into candy coating with fork, tap fork on side of bowl to remove excess. Let cookie dry completely.
- Draw on 2 eyes with black food writer.
- Roll out fondant into 2 tube shapes with a narrow tip at one end.
- Pinch together the narrow end.
- Wrap the tubes around each other and trim off bottom end of horn. Let dry.
- Spray horn with gold food coloring mist.
- With a food-safe brush, dust on the edible gold glitter dust if desired.
- Roll out white fondant and cut 2 teardrop shapes for ears.
- Spray a little gold food coloring mist into a small dish. Dip brush into the mist and paint on interior of ears.
- Attach horn and ears on cookie with melted candy coating.
- Roll out green fondant and cut out shamrock shape.
- Attach shamrock at the base of the horn using a toothpick dipped in melted candyh coating.
- Using a toothpick dipped in candy coating, decorate the top of the cookie with assorted sprinkles.
