You will need:

1 (13.1 oz. box) Little Debbie Red, White and Blue Brownies
1 cup cold heavy whipping cream
½ tsp vanilla extract
2 ½ TB powdered sugar
Mini star cookie cutter
Maraschino cherries
Directions for Star-Spangled Brownie Bites:
First cut the brownie in half.

Using the star cookie cutter, cut the center of the brownie and set aside the star shape.

Next make the whipping cream by placing the heavy cream in a large mixing bowl. With a whisk attachment whip the cream with the vanilla and sugar with a hand or stand mixer for about 3 minutes. Don’t over mix – just until stiff peaks form.

Pipe or spread the whipped cream on top of the solid brownie half.

Flip the star over so the chocolate portion of the brownie is showing.

Now place the star in the center of the cut-out brownie.

Place the star brownie on top of the whipped cream and put a cherry on top!

These are great to take to a Patriotic Party like the 4th of July celebration or for a Memorial Day picnic. You can even make it easier by using a store-bought whipped cream like Cool Whip instead of making your own. These sweet treats come together in no time and they are really fun to make!
