4th of July – 2011
My husband’s favorite holiday is the 4th of July. He loves fireworks. To be honest, he is a bit of a pyromaniac. Some neighbors actually leave town on the 4th and put hoses out in their front yards in case of fire. No kidding, they really do. Others want a front row seat and set up chairs in the street. But the smart ones watch safely huddled inside their homes. I secretly pray for incorporation of our neighborhood so that fireworks are banned. What started out as a family party has evolved over the years into a full blown event. I have cousins who will drive all the way up from San Jose, California for his show.
Fun festive table on a dime – the budget was literally blown…on fireworks.
