2018 is the Year of the Dog so I had to celebrate by making some cute Snoopy sugar cookies!
I’m a Snoopy FREAK so when I learned it was the Year of the Dog, of course I had to break out the Snoopy cookie cutters!

You will need:
- Your favorite sugar cookie recipe
- Snoopy cookie cutter
- Red cookie icing
- Food safe paint brush
- Gold food color mist or gold pearl dust mixed with a little vodka
- Cut out Snoopy shapes from your sugar cookie dough and bake according to your recipe. Let cool completely.
- Decorate cookies with red cookie icing. Let dry overnight
- Spray gold food color mist in a small bowl (or mix gold luster dust with a small amount of vodka)
- With a fine tip food safe paint brush, outline Snoopy’s head and make gold designs on the cookie.
I used a food safe paint brush and dipped it into gold food coloring. I sprayed gold food color mist by Wilton into a small dish, dipped my brush in and began painting. These were so much fun to decorate!
