I have the recipe for the BEST Chicken Salad ever. I fell in love with this recipe when I was visiting my son in Savannah, Georgia and I ate it in a local restaurant, The Public Kitchen. This chicken salad recipe is packed with onion, dried cranberries, chopped water chestnuts and celery and is like nothing you’ve ever tasted it’s SO GOOD!! I was dreaming about it when I got home so I had to try and come up with my own version of their yummy recipe, and you know what? I did it!

Directions for the Best Chicken Salad Ever:
Place all of the ingredients together in a medium bowl.
Now mix all of the ingredients together. I like to cover and refrigerate for a couple of hours for all of the flavors to combine.
Place in a sandwich, on top of buttery crackers or simply on a bed of lettuce. This is seriously Savannah’s Best Chicken Salad recipe ever! The Craisins give a nice sweetness to the salad and the onion and celery give it a nice crunch. The water chestnuts are an amazing touch, just a light crunch that you didn’t know you needed in a chicken salad sandwich!
This is perfect lunch or dinner on a warm summer’s day, paired perfectly with some sweet tea! Everyone will ask you for this recipe over and over again. Perfect for bridal and baby showers too!
