This is a great refreshing dessert for the holidays – especially for kids who don’t care for the traditional pecan or pumpkin pies. It’s a fun treat while watching the Grinch movie!
You will need:
2 (3.4 oz) boxes of vanilla instant pudding mix
2 cups milk
8 oz cool whip, thawed
12-14 drops green food coloring
1 (9 inch 6 oz) store bought graham cracker crust
*Additional thawed Cool Whip, maraschino cherries and mint leaves for garnish (optional)
Directions for Easy Grinch Pie:
In a large bowl, mix together the 2 boxes of pudding and the milk until combined. Next stir in the mint extract and the green food coloring.
Now carefully fold in the thawed Cool Whip.
Pour the mixture into a premade pie crust. Refrigerate or freeze for 6 hours or overnight.
Garnish with more Cool Whip, maraschino cherry and mint leave is desired. We love this pie frozen but if you prefer a creamy texture, simply put it in the refrigerator for at least 6 hours or overnight to set.
Now your super easy Grinch Pie is ready to enjoy! Perfect for family movie night while watching “The Grinch Who Stole Christmas” movie! Everyone loves this pie, my sons say it tastes exactly like a McDonald’s Shamrock Shake!
