Your kids will give a hoot when they see these super cute smart owl meatball snacks for a fun after school treat!
You will need:
Farm Rich Italian Style Meatballs
Sliced Mozzarella or Provolone cheese
Black Olives
Sour Cream or Cream Cheese
Sliced Cheddar Cheese
Frilly toothpicks (optional)
1. Using a knife, small round fondant cutter or pastry piping tip, cut out small circles of mozzarella or provolone cheese.
2. Slice a black olive in half and cut out small circles using a knife or pastry piping tip.
3. Attach olive pieces to cheese using sour cream or cream cheese.
4. Attach eyes to Meatball with sour cream or cream cheese.
5. Cut small triangles out of cheddar cheese.
6. Using sour cream or cream cheese, attach the cheddar cheese beak to the Meatball.
7. Push a frilly toothpick in the top of the Meatball. If serving these to small children, be sure to take the toothpick out before serving or omit using a toothpick altogether.
