This is the best recipe because it’s so easy and uses only 5 ingredients for the beef. There’s no searing the meat, it’s simply a dump and go meal and everyone will love this on a weeknight or for game day! Best slow cooker shredded beef tacos ever!
You will need:
2 1/2 – 3 lbs chuck roast, cut into 4 large chunks
1 (4 oz.) can diced green chiles
2 cups beef broth
2 (1 oz. ) packets taco seasoning
½ medium onion, chopped
White corn tortillas
Shredded Mexican blend cheese
Olive oil

DIRECTIONS:
First, place the chopped onion in the bottom of the crock pot.
Next, place the beef on top of the onions.
Now, in a small bowl, combine the beef broth, chiles and taco seasoning, then pour on top of the beef.
Cook on high for 5 hours. Remove beef to a plate and shred with fork.
Then dip the corn tortilla into the juices left in the slow cooker.
Next, place the beef on one side of the tortilla and top with cheese. Fold tortilla over
Now fry in olive oil for 2 minutes on each side.
Finally, top with your favorite taco toppings like sour cream, guacamole, pico de gallo or cilantro.
Now you have the BEST slow cooker shredded beef tacos. The crock pot makes it so easy and it’s optional if you want to fry the shells, but I highly recommend it!
