You will need:
About 3 pounds chuck roast
4 medium Yukon gold potatoes (or red potatoes – I find Russets get too mushy)
3 celery stalks
3 carrots,
1 yellow onion
1 envelope Lipton Onion Soup mix
2/3 cup beef broth
1 Tb Worcestershire sauce
Directions for Slow Cooker Lipton Pot Roast:
Place the roast into the slow cooker. Cut the celery into thirds, peel carrots and cut into thirds and quarter the potatoes and onion
Now mix the worcestershire sauce and beef broth together in a small bowl and pour over the roast. Arrange all of the vegetables on top of the roast
Next, sprinkle the dry Lipton Onion Soup Mix on top of the vegetables.
Cover and cook on high for 5-6 hours or low for 8-10 hours
