Slow Cooker Lipton Pot Roast

This slow cooker Lipton Pot Roast is truly a dump and go meal! Such a hearty meal on a cold day, and makes the best French dip sandwiches or Philly Cheesesteak sandwiches the next day! Just a few ingredients and Lipton Onion Soup Mix! It will fast become a family favorite and be on your dinner rotation. Great meal for after school sports and activities too!

You will need:

About 3 pounds chuck roast

4 medium Yukon gold potatoes (or red potatoes – I find Russets get too mushy)

3 celery stalks

3 carrots,

1 yellow onion

1 envelope Lipton Onion Soup mix

2/3 cup beef broth

1 Tb Worcestershire sauce

Directions for Slow Cooker Lipton Pot Roast:

Place the roast into the slow cooker. Cut the celery into thirds, peel carrots and cut into thirds and quarter the potatoes and onion

Now mix the worcestershire sauce and beef broth together in a small bowl and pour over the roast. Arrange all of the vegetables on top of the roast

Next, sprinkle the dry Lipton Onion Soup Mix on top of the vegetables.

Cover and cook on high for 5-6 hours or low for 8-10 hours

This slow cooker Lipton pot roast is so flavorful and easy to make! Literally dump and go with no browning of the roast. Fast and easy to put together in the crockpot before heading out to work and you’ll come home to a hearty delicious dinner. You can serve this with a side of toasted garlic bread or applesauce. This makes great French dips the next day too so save that leftover broth in the Crock Pot, it makes an amazing au jus that everyone loves!
