This is an easy go-to family dinner meal idea that I absolutely love. It only takes 5 ingredients and 5 minutes to prep before going into the slow cooker!
You will need:
2-3 lbs boneless skinless chicken breasts or thighs
1 (14.5 oz.) can chicken broth
2 (1 oz.) packets taco seasoning
1 (4oz.) can diced green chiles
½ medium onion, chopped
Directions for Slow Cooker Chicken Tacos:
First, chop the onion and place the chopped onion in the bottom of the crock pot.
Next, place the chicken on top of the onions and sprinkle the taco season packets on top. Then pour the can of green chiles on top.
Pour the can of broth in and cook on high 4-5 hours.
Remove chicken to a plate and shred with fork.
Place chicken back in the crock pot
Finally, serve with tortillas or taco shells and top with your favorite toppings like sour cream, guacamole, pico de gallo or cilantro.

Ingredients
- 2-3 lbs boneless skinless chicken breasts or thighs
