This Slow Cooker Broccoli Beef is so easy to make and is one of our family favorites! Serve over rice and you have super delicous comfort meal that’s literally dump and go!

You will need:
1 ½ – 2 lbs beef chuck roast boneless, sliced into strips
4 cloves garlic, minced
½ tsp crushed red pepper (optional)
1 cup beef broth
1/2 cup low sodium soy sauce
1 TB sesame oil
1/3 cup dark brown sugar
1/4 cup cornstarch
Frozen broccoli florets about 3 cups (I used petite florets one 14 oz bag)
White or brown rice cooked
Directions for Slow Cooker Broccoli Beef:
Slice beef into thin slices or buy pre-sliced.
In a medium bowl, mix together the soy sauce, beef broth, brown sugar, sesame oil, garlic and crushed red pepper.
Place the beef strips in the crockpot and pour the sauce on top.
Turn the crockpot on low and cook for about 6 hours. You can check it at 5 hours to see if the beef is tender
An hour before it is done, ladle out 1/4 cup of the sauce and mix it in a small bowl with the cornstarch to make a slurry. Slowly stir this into the crockpot.
Add in the broccoli the last 30 minutes and let the broccoli cook through. (don’t add the broccoli at the beginning or it will be very mushy)
