For your Rock Rice Krispie Treats I you to know how I always felt sorry for poor Charlie Brown every time he said, “I got a rock.” when he went Trick-or-Treating.
But I have good news for good ol’ Charlie Brown, I’ve made those rocks into a tasty treat!
You will need:
10 Store-bought (or homemade) Rice Krispie Treat bars
1 bag White Candy melts
1 bag Black Candy melts
Black edible marker (optional)
1. Cut Rice Krispie Treat bar in half and make 2 rock shapes.
2. Melt candy coating according to package instructions.
3. Mix in a little bit of the black candy coating into the white. Add more black until you get a gray “rock” color.
4. Using a fork, dip the Rice Krispie Treat rock into the candy coating. Tap the fork on the side of the glass cup or bowl to remove excess. Place on parchment paper to dry.
5. When completely dry, lightly highlight the rocks with a black edible marker if desired.
