When Popsicle asked me to be a Blogger Ambassador for 2013, I was beyond thrilled. If you’re a kid or kid at heart, Popsicles are a part of your life. Frozen happiness on a stick.
I actually didn’t tell the kids about these Sour Patch Popsicles until I had a few. Hey, don’t judge – we all love them and I had a genius idea…
I created a Popsicle flavored cupcake using the lime Sour Patch Popsicles. They are A.MAZ.ING. Click here for the recipe.
My hubby and I took a week off to vacation in Vegas to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. Record temps in June, 115 degrees (which I LOVED by the way) but to keep me cool, I had plenty of my favorite Orange Popsicles on hand!
After Vegas, we came back to summer in Seattle! Over 80 degrees and no air conditioning here – that’s ok, we were fully stocked to beat the heat!
Firecracker Popsicles exploding with cuteness! For a full tutorial on how to make these easy treats click here.
DID YOU KNOW? During World War II, the Eighth Air Force Unit chose Popsicle ice pops as a symbol of American life? Here is my dad at 92 years old, who flew a B-17 in WWII and was also in the Eighth Air Force Unit, enjoying a Popsicle on the 4th of July. For more fun facts visit Popsicle’s page here.
I had the most fun creating a Popsicle Pop-up Party! The whole neighborhood just loved it – you can see the entire party here.
Spending the day at the Fair inspired me to make these deeelish Cotton Candy Milkshakes! Made with Popsicle’s Cotton Candy Yosciles – get the recipe here!
Super “cool” Popsicles for Halloween. Bootifully easy. My frighteningly cool Popsicles even made Buzzfeed’s 31 Last-Minute Halloween Hacks!
Mom down. It’s that time of year when I nurse the whole family back to health and then I finally get the crud. So thankful for the freezer full of Popsicles to help get us all back on our feet again!
Nom nom nom. My beagle Kurby gets the last few licks of my rootbeer Popsicle. Can you tell he loves it?
Popsicles for Thanksgiving. Because not every kid likes pumpkin pie. For directions on how to make this cute Popsicle Turkey, click here.
I have loved being an ambassador for Popsicle this year. It was such an honor! Thanks Popsicle for bringing out the kid in me and for helping me make some pretty “cool” memories too! I hope you all have enjoyed my Popsicle posts and ideas!
