These Perfectly Pillowy Soft Snickerdoodles are THE BEST SNICKERDOODLES EVER! Super soft with just the right amount of cinnamon and sugar, they simply melt in your mouth! Everyone loves these classic cookies but for some reason they are rarely done right! This recipe is perfection and SO EASY. Makes a good amount too so they are perfect for potlucks, office parties, picnics, or a cookie exchange!

You will need:
3 ¾ cups all-purpose flour
½ tsp baking soda
½ tsp cream of tartar
1 cup salted butter (2 sticks)
2 cups granulated sugar
2 eggs
¼ cup milk
1 tsp vanilla
For the Cinnamon Sugar mixture:
Combine 6 TB granulated sugar with 2 tsp ground cinnamon

Directions for Perfectly Pillowy Soft Snickerdoodles:
Preheat oven to 375 degrees
In a large bowl, stir together flour, baking soda and cream of tartar.
Next with a stand mixer, beat butter for a minute and then add the 2 cups of granulated sugar and beat until fluffy.
Add the eggs and vanilla.
Then add the dry ingredients about ½ cup at a time and mix until combined.
Now for the dough into 1 ½ “ balls and roll in the cinnamon sugar mixture until coated.
Place the balls 2” a part on a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper.
Flatten the cookie dough with a drinking glass a little and bake for 8 minutes or until golden brown
Now you have perfectly pillowy soft snickerdoodles! Great for an after school snack or a fall day with a cup of coffee or a glass of milk. Great alternative dessert for Thanksgiving too!
