This PBJ Nutty Buddy is probably one of my most favorite recipes I’ve created! I’ve always loved Little Debbie Nutty Buddy Wafer Bars, in fact they are a household staple for us. I’ve been known to eat quite a few in one sitting, they just full of flaky wafers, creamy peanut butter and chocolately goodness, they are impossible to resist!
So I thought to myself, what if I put a layer of grape jelly on top? And some of my scrumptious peanut butter buttercream frosting with a little crushed nuts for extra crunch? Well, I have been patting myself on the back for this one because it’s AWESOME!!!

You will need:
1 (12 oz.) box Little Debbie Nutty Buddy Wafer Bars
Grape Jelly (or any flavor jam or jelly)
½ cup butter, softened at room temperature
1½ cup powdered sugar
½ vanilla extract
1 or 1 ½ TB milk
Crushed peanuts
1M piping tip with disposable piping bag
Directions for PBJ Nutty Buddy:
Spread the top of the Nutty Buddy with jelly

For the frosting, in a medium bowl, mix the butter and peanut butter with a hand or stand mixer until smooth. Now, slowly add powdered sugar and mix until creamy. Add the milk and vanilla and mix until smooth and creamy.

Next, pipe the frosting on top of the jelly layer.

Now pipe a line of grape jelly using a piping bag with the tip cut off filled with grape jelly

Then sprinkle the crushed peanuts on top.

Serve your PBJ Nutty Buddy with a nice cold glass of milk and you’ll have the best, comforting childhood treat ever! Try it with different flavored jams or jellies, like strawberry, blackberry, raspberry, or blueberry!

PBJ Nutty Buddy Wafer Bars using Little Debbie Nutty Buddys
Ingredients
- 1 (12 oz.) box Little Debbie Nutty Buddy
- Grape Jelly (or any flavor jam or jelly)
