Patriotic Rice Krispie Treat Pops

These easy to make 4th of July Patriotic Rice Krispie Treat Pops are exploding with cuteness using store-bought Rice Krispie Treats.  These red, white and blue pops are fun treats that won’t melt at your patriotic picnic!

You will need:
12 store-bought Rice Krispie Treat bars
12 popsicle sticks
1 (12 oz.) bag of red candy coating wafers
1 (12 oz.) bag of white candy coating wafers
1 (12 oz.) bag of blue candy coating wafers

* Black food writer (optional)

1. Cut the corners into a curve on one end of the Rice Krispie Treat bar.

2. Melt white candy coating according to package instructions.

3. Dip the Rice Krispie Treat ¾ of the way into the white candy coating. Lightly tap treat on the edge of the bowl to remove excess. Place on wax or parchment paper. Dry completely.

4. Melt blue candy coating according to package instructions.

5. Dip the straight bottom edge of the treat 1/3 of the way into the melted blue candy coating. Lightly tap treat on edge of bowl to remove excess. Place on wax or parchment paper. Dry completely.

6. Melt red candy coating according to package instructions.

7. Dip the curved top part of the treat 1/3 of the way into the melted red candy coating. Lightly tap treat on edge of bowl to remove excess. Place on wax or parchment paper. Dry completely.

8. Push the popsicle stick half way into the bottom of the treat.

*Tip: To make these treats even more adorable, use a black food writer to draw a smiley face on them!
