Back-to-School Nutty Buddy Crayons are the best treat for the new school year! Made with Little Debbie Nutty Buddy Wafers, they are so fun to create! Your kids will love to open up their lunch boxes and find this colorful surprise inside made with their favorite treat!

You will need:
1 (12 oz.) box Little Debbie Nutty Buddy Wafers
Red, Blue, Green and Yellow Cookie Icing (store bought or homemade royal icing)
Directions for Nutty Buddy Crayons:
First cut one end of the Nutty Buddy Wafer so it has a pointed end.
Now cut the very tip of the wafer so it is flat like a crayon.
Next pipe on the icing on the top of the wafer. Let dry completely overnight.
Then with the black edible marker, make an oval in the middle of the wafer crayon and color it in. Add wavey lines on each side of the oval so it resembles a crayon.
Now you have a super fun treat for an after school snack or a surprise in a lunch box to celebrate the new school year! This is a fun activity for the kids to decorate too. The Nutty Buddy Wafer Bars were my sons’ favorite lunchtime treat when they were going to school!
These Nutty Buddy Crayons would make a nice teacher’s gift as well or they would be a fun way to decorate a cake! Pair these with a grape jelly sandwich and a glass of milk and you have the absolute perfect lunch.
