Midnight Marshmallow Pops are the PERFECT sweet treats for your New Year’s Eve party! Super easy to make these are such a crowd pleaser! (Printable recipe below)
These Midnight Marshmallow pops are pretty in gold too! Just swap out all of the silver elements for gold. They are such a pretty dessert for ringing in the New Year!
Kid friendly too, so if you’re looking for a way for kids to enjoy New Year’s Eve, these are a hit with children!
You will need:
- 1 (12-oz.) package white candy coating wafers
- 12 regular size marshmallows
- 12 lollipop sticks or crystal lollipop sticks*
- 1 (1.5-oz.) can silver food coloring mist
- Silver dragées
- 12 white Necco wafer candies * if you have a hard time finding these, you can use the back of a white candy melt
- Black edible marker
- Melt white candy coating wafers according to package instructions.
- Push lollipop sticks into one end of the marshmallow.
- Holding the lollipop stick, dip the marshmallow into the melted candy coating.
- Tap the stick on the side of the bowl to remove excess. Place on parchment or wax paper to dry completely.
- Lightly spray the marshmallows with silver food coloring mist
- Using a toothpick dipped in melted candy coating, draw a line around the bottom of the marshmallow and immediately attach the silver dragées.
- Using a black edible marker, draw a simple clock face making 4 dots spaced evenly around the edge of the white Necco wafers and the hands of the clock at midnight.
- Attach the Necco clock to the front of the marshmallow pop using the melted candy coating.
Makes 12 marshmallow pops.
