These gooey Midnight Chocolate Chip Cookie Bars are my favorite comfort food. It’s really the Nestle Tollhouse Cookie bar recipe with a few adjustments and my all-time favorite candy – Midnight Milky Ways. Chop those babies up, stir them into the batter and you’ve got yourself a good time. Promise.
Ingredients:
2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup (2 sticks) butter, softened
3/4 cup granulated sugar
3/4 cup packed brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 large eggs
1 to 1½ cups NESTLÉ® TOLL HOUSE® Semi-Sweet Chocolate Morsels (I used 1½ cups because I love chocolate)
1 cup chopped Milky Way Midnight bars
Directions:
PREHEAT oven to 375° F.
Generously grease 9 x 13 pan
COMBINE flour, baking soda and salt in small bowl. Beat butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar and vanilla extract in large mixer bowl. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Gradually beat in flour mixture. Stir in morsels and candy bar chunks. Spread into prepared pan.
BAKE for 20 to 25 minutes or until golden brown. Cool in pan on wire rack. Cut into bars.
** Or you can substitute the Milky Way Bars for ONE of the following :

Mini Marshmallows
Toffee pieces
White Chocolate Chips
Chopped Malted Milk Balls
