Lemon Drop Bees

Lemon Drop Bees are candy coated Oreos topped with Lemon Drops and they are so cute! A cute cookie for Spring or just bee-cause.

  • Lemon drop candies
  • White confetti sprinkles
  • White heart sprinkles
  • Melted white candy coating
  • Black edible marker

Directions for the cookies:
  1.  Melt candy coating according to package instructions.  Using a fork dip Oreo completely into the melted candy coating.

2.  Tap the side of the bowl with the fork to remove excess coating and place cookie on parchment paper to dry.

Directions for the bees:

1.  Melt white candy coating according to package instructions.

2.  With a black edible marker, draw eyes on white round confetti sprinkles.

3.  Using a toothpick dipped in melted candy coating, attach the confetti eyes to one end of the lemon drop candy.

4.  Draw 2 black lines around the lemon drop with the edible marker.  Let dry.

5.  Attach 2 white heart spinkles to the top of the lemon drop for the wings with a toothpick dipped in melted candy coating.

6.  Place lemon drop bees on top of your favorite cake, cupcake, cookies etc.

Instructions
  1. Melt white candy coating according to package instructions.
