Next prepare the mashed potatoes according to package instructions or use 5 cups homemade mashed potatoes.
Then spray a 9×13 baking dish with cooking spray and spread the mashed potatoes evenly in the bottom of the dish.
Now sprinkle the thawed frozen corn evenly on top of the mashed potatoes.
Next, place the cooked seasoned chicken nuggets on top of the corn.
Next grate the cheese. So I NEED to tell you about this grater I purchased from Amazon. It is HANDS DOWN my favorite kitchen gadget. In fact I don’t know how I survived all these years without it. I can literally grate a block of cheese in SECONDS. Not only that, you can switch out the blade and use it to slice zucchini, squash, potatoes for potato chips. I LOVE IT. You can purchase it from Amazon here (affiliate link) I absolutely love it!
Then sprinkle the shredded cheese on top of the nuggets.
Cover and bake in a preheated 400 degrees F oven for 25 minutes.
For the Gravy:
While the casserole is baking, prepare the gravy. Empty the packets of gravy and 1 tsp of freshly ground black pepper into a medium saucepan.
Next, whisk in 3 cups of water.
Cook according to package instructions.
Remove casserole and drizzle with gravy. You’ll have plenty of extra gravy if you want more!
Now you have a super delicious KFC Bowl casserole without leaving the house! Everyone loves mashed potatoes, chicken nuggets, corn, cheese and gravy! You won’t believe how much everyone will love this gravy and it couldn’t be easier to make!
