The weather is turning chilly and it’s a perfect time for hot cocoa. I’ve always wanted to create a fun hot chocolate bar with all of the yummy fixings, so when Avery sent me some super fun and pretty Martha Stewart Office supplies, I was inspired!
I started by filling glass containers with all of my favorite hot chocolate toppings like starlight mints, mini marshmallows, chocolate chips, peppermint marshmallows and chocolate mallow bits! I placed it on a pretty blue Martha Stewart document box.
I have to admit I’m OBSESSED with these chalkboard labels. In fact, I love anything chalkboard – and the Avery Martha Stewart labels come in so many shapes and sizes.
I used round red kitchen labels for the goodies. They are even dishwasher safe. Serious.
I used a pretty blue desk organizer to hold all of the fun stir-ins for the hot chocolate – it was perfect – I even included my chocolate reindeer spoons! And yes, I added a chalkboard label. Had to. Cute, right?
More candy mix-ins! Sixlets, cinnamon imperial candies and Hershey kisses. Nummy.
Aren’t these Candyland address labels CUTE? I attached them to cardstock and made table cards out of them.
Peppermint candy marshmallow pops. MY favorite. Dip your marshmallows into melted chocolate and then into crushed peppermint candy. My little hot cocoate marshmallow cookie is a great centerpiece don’tcha think?
Folding these candyland mini labels on the straws made the cutest little flags. Totally adorbs.
Sprinkles make your cocoa happy. Shake some snowflakes, crushed peppermint candy, mini chocolate chips or vanilla mallo bits in your mug!
I nearly FAINTED at the sight of this chalkboard sticker. YES! It’s a super big CHALKBOARD STICKER. I placed it on a painted board and it made the perfect backdrop for the bar. Oh, and it’s reusable so I just peeled it off and placed it on my kitchen wall. How awesome is that?
A desk organizer also serves as a great station to personalize your mug. Since these chalkboard labels are reusable, they are the perfect way to temporarily transform your glassware in a fun way!
These adorable and easy to create snowmen make great favors for your guests to take home. Simply fill a canning jar with dry hot cocoa mix and mini marshmallows. Top with a styrofoam ball. Add some googley eyes, buttons for the mouth, construction paper nose and felt strips & pom poms for the earmuffs.
Frosty’s chipboard chalk tag begs you to take him home!
Who says office supplies have to be for the office? Let your imagination run wild this season and use these fun products for your parties!
A super sweet THANK YOU to Avery for the inspiration for this party – I have purchased their products for years and love how easy their templates are to use for all of their labels.
Party Pinching received free product samples from Avery for purposes of this post, but the opinions are 100% mine.
