These little muffins would be so sweet to have at a baby shower or an Easter brunch. They would be a perfect way to welcome Spring too! The fondant bees are super simple to make using just fondant, an edible food marker and some heart sprinkles. You can add a little candy flower or flower sprinkle too!
You will need:
1 (8.44 oz.) box Little Debbie Honey Bun Mini Muffins
White royal icing
Yellow fondant
Black edible food writer
White heart sprinkles
Ground cinnamon
Honey
Icing flowers (optional)
Directions for Honey Bun Mini Muffins:
Pipe the white royal icing in a swirl on top of the muffin.
Sprinkle the muffin with ground cinnamon
Drizzle the muffin top with honey.
Now roll yellow fondant into 12 (1/2 inch) oval shaped balls. Draw on bee stripes and two dots for eyes using the black edible food marker. Then, attach two white heart sprinkles for wings onto the bee with a toothpick dipped in royal icing.
Place the bee on top of the muffin and decorate with a store-bought edible icing flower (optional)

- White royal icing
