Frog macarons
Store-bought pistachio macarons
Fondant roller
Flower fondant cutter click here to purchase on Amazon (affiliate link)
White frosting
green food coloring (optional)*
Directions for the Frog Macarons:
Attach the candy eyes to the top of the macaron with frosting. (NOTE* If the store-bought macarons aren’t green enough, then you can always take a little bit of water and green food coloring and using a food safe paint brush, brush the macaron with the food coloring mix. Then let dry completely before adding the eyes. )
Then push the red heart sprinkle in the middle of the macaron for the tongue.
Next roll out the green fondant and cut out 2 flowers for the frog’s feet
Attach the feet to the bottom of the macaron with frosting.
Now you have the cutest frog macarons! They are so easy to make and kids will love to create them too. There were 2 pistachio macarons to the package I purchased at Walmart, but the Costco macarons have more in their package if you need more.
They make great cupcake toppers too! Perfect for picnics, potlucks, fishing theme parties and summer parties! Great for celebrating Leap year too! They are just the cutest little macarons!
