You will need:
About 3 pounds chuck roast
1 yellow onion, sliced
1 envelope Lipton Onion Soup mix
2/3 cup beef broth
1 Tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
Hoagie rolls
Butter

Directions for Easy Slow Cooker French Dips:
Place the roast into the slow cooker.
Mix together the beef broth and Worcestershire sauce in a small bowl and pour over the roast.
Now place the sliced onions on top
Next, sprinkle the dry Lipton Onion Soup Mix on top of the sliced onions
Cook on high for 5-6 hours or low for 8-10 hours
It will be super tender after cooking. Pull apart the meat with forks for the sandwiches
Butter the inside of the hoagie rolls and place on cookie sheet under the broiler until toasted
Layer the beef inside the buns and top with cheese if desired. Use the broth left over in the slow cooker for your au jus dipping sauce. It’s so good!
