This Easy Jello Magic recipe is something I always make for the holidays. It’s the perfect light and refreshing dessert after a big holiday meal at Christmas or Thanksgiving. It’s also great for the summer or the 4th of July too! Agreat little treat for anytime you want a something light and sweet. Gluten-free too!
It takes about 5 minutes to make and the magic happens while you wait for it to set up in the refrigerator! This dessert just seperates into pretty layers and is a light, mousse like dessert that everyone loves. Make it with your favorite flavor of Jello, I love strawberry!
You will need:
3 cups boiling water
1 (6 oz.) box or 2 (3 oz.) boxes of Jello, any flavor
1 large (16 oz.) tub Cool Whip, thawed
Directions for Easy Jello Magic:
Boil water in a pan. Place the dry Jello in a large bowl.
Stir the boiling water in the Jello and dissolve
Thoroughly fold in the thawed Cool Whip
Place in individual glasses and refrigerate for 4 hours
The layers will form magically in the refrigerator! Top with more Cool Whip – you can either pipe it on
Or smooth a flat layer on top
I love how the layers just magically appear as it sets in the refrigerator! It’s such a classy looking dessert. This makes anywhere between 4 and 8 individual servings, depending on the size of your dessert dishes.

Easy 2 ingredient layered Jello Magic! Less than 5 minutes to make with a 4 hour refrigerating time
Ingredients
- 3 cups boiling water
- 1 (6 oz.) box or 2 (3 oz.) boxes of Jello, any flavor

- Extra Cool Whip for garnish if desired
