My easy homemade Turtle Candy is so simple to make and only uses 3 ingredients! (well, 4 if you drizzle the dark chocolate on top like I like to do! These are everyone’s favorite for the holidays and they make great hostess gifts! Perfect for gift giving to neighbors, co-workers, teachers, family and friends! A nice change from all of the holiday cookies!

You will need:
1 cup pecan halves, coarsely chopped and toasted if desired
25 unwrapped caramel squares
2 cups milk chocolate chips
1 cup semi sweet chocolate chips, if desired
Parchment paper
Disposable piping bag
Directions for Easy Homemade Turtle Candy:
Place a large sheet of parchment paper on the counter and arrange about 2 tablespoons or 4 pecan halves per candy about 3 inches apart.
Next, place the unwrapped caramels in a microwave safe bowl and microwave in 30 second intervals, stirring after each interval until smooth.
Now scoop a heaping tablespoon or 2 on top of each pecan cluster
Then melt the chocolate chips in the microwave in 30 second intervals stirring after each interval until smooth.
Cover each turtle in melted chocolate. Set on counter until completely set.
Drizzle the top of each turtle with melted semi sweet chocolate if desired. (melt the chocolate the same way as you did the milk chocolate and place in a disposable piping bag and cut the tip off to drizzle.)
