DIRECTIONS FOR EASY CHICKEN CRESCENT ROLLS:
Mix chicken, cream cheese, 2 TB milk and onions in a small bowl.
Unroll and separate the crescent dough.
Spoon the mixture on the large end of each dough triangle.
Roll up the crescent dough and place on cookie sheet.
Whisk the egg and water together and brush the egg wash on the dough.
Bake for 9-13 minutes at 375 degrees or until golden brown.
For the gravy, mix together the 1/3 cup milk, cream of chicken soup, sour cream and chicken bouillon in a small saucepan and heat over medium heat on the stovetop. If you would like the gravy thinner, add more milk.
Sprinkle with chives if desired.
These are great plain or with the gravy on top. You can even dip them in ranch dressing if you prefer. Making these are so easy, especially if you pick up some rotisserie chicken at the store for the filling. These Chicken Crescent Rolls are great with melted cheddar or parmesan cheese on top instead of the gravy too!
These Chicken Crescent Rolls are great served with my macaroni and cheese recipe and a salad!
