We BEG my sister to bring her easy Cheesy Chicken Broccoli casserole for every holiday dinner! It’s a staple for our Thanksgiving dinner and at Christmastime and we all fight for the leftovers! We absolutely love this casserole and it’s the ulitmate comfort food. It just wouldn’t the holidays without it and you can even make it gluten-free too if you use gluten-free cream soups!

You will need:
12 ounce bag of frozen cut broccoli
2 cups cooked cubed chicken
1 (10.5 oz.) can cream of mushroom soup, undiluted
1 (10.5 oz.) can cream of chicken soup, undiluted
½ cup mayonnaise
1 cup sour cream
2 cups of grated cheddar cheese, divided
Directions for Easy Cheesy Chicken Broccoli:
Cook broccoli until ¾ of the way done, until just soft.
Layer the broccoli in the bottom of a 9”x13” casserole dish.
Next layer the chicken on top of the broccoli – for a time-saving tip, use store-bought rotisserie chicken!
In a bowl, mix both soups, mayo, sour cream and one cup of the cheese – to make this easy cheesy chicken broccoli casserole a gluten-free side dish, just substitute the cream of mushroom and cream of chicken soup for gluten-free ones. Campbell’s soup has a gluten-free version for both!
Next spread the mixture on top of the broccoli
Now bake at 350 degrees F uncovered for 25-30 minutes.
Sprinkle the rest of the cheese on top and bake until the cheese melts.
You can also top this with crushed Ritz cracker and French fried onions!
It’s seriously the BEST! You can save time by using a grocery store rotisserie chicken too!
