This recipe makes 16-25 pieces of fudge depending on the size you cut them into and it looks great on a charcuterie board too! Festive for Thanksgiving or Christmas, this is great on a cheese board or dessert table and it a family favorite!
You will need:
½ cup butter
Light brown sugar (1/2 cup packed)
½ c granulated sugar
½ cup heavy cream
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 cup coarsely chopped pecans
parchment paper
Directions for Easy Butter Pecan Fudge:
Place butter, brown sugar and granulated sugar in a medium pan and place over medium heat on the stovetop.
Bring to a boil, and let boil for 5 minutes white stirring constantly.
Remove pan from heat and add in the vanilla and pecans.
Pour mixture into a 8×8” pan lined with parchment paper
Cool at room temperature completely.
For a richer flavor, feel free to toast the pecans before you start the fudge.
Great idea = You can substitute dark brown sugar for the light brown sugar and real maple syrup instead of vanilla extract for a maple pecan fudge too!
