My beagle Kurby was the inspiration for these little cookies. The cookie is actually a Nilla Wafer. I microwaved a Tootsie Roll and shaped it into 2 ears. The nose is a mini black jelly bean. The ears are white Jordan Almonds with pink icing. I drew on a headband using a toothpick dipped in melted white candy coating. I attached everything with melted candy coating. The eyes are dots made with an edible black marker.
Store bought Rice Krispie treats shaped into little eggs make these cutie patootie chickies. Dip the egg shaped Rice Krispie Treat into melted yellow candy coating. Add an orange triangle sprinkle for the beak and black sugar pearls for the eyes.
Itty Bitty Easter Baskets make the cutest cupcake toppers or treats on their own! Cut the top of a gumdrop and turn it upside down. Poke the sides of the gumdrop with a toothpick and then stick part of a licorice lace or Rips Whips candy for the basket handle. Using a little icing, attach tinted green coconut to the top of the basket and add oval pastel sprinkles.
Decorate your cookie with edible pens and make a plaid pattern. Add a yellow Necco wafer candy and sprinkles for a cute chick cookie.
