These cute Easter Basket Cupcakes are so easy to make! They are the perfect addition to your Easter table and look adorable placed in the middle of each dinner plate. Kids and adults both will love these sweet cupcake treats!

You will need:
12 unfrosted cupcakes, any flavor
Green buttercream frosting (get my best buttercream recipe here)
1M piping tip and disposable icing bag
White fondant
Parchment paper
Assorted Jelly Belly ® jelly beans

First roll the white fondant into two 6” ropes for each cupcake
Next twist the fondant ropes together.
Now curve the ropes into a basket handle and place on parchment paper. Let dry 12 hours or overnight.
Then, pipe the green buttercream frosting using a 1M piping tip on top of the cupcakes
Next, place a few of the Jelly Belly® jelly beans in the middle of the cupcake.
Finally push the fondant basket handle on top of the cupcake.
Now you have the best Easter cupcakes! They are so fun and easy to make and the kids will love helping! You can even use green tinted coconut for grass or use a grass piping tip. Add some colorful cupcake liners too! Use you imagination and have fun decorating these adorable Easter cupcakes!
Another fun time-saving tip is to get unfrosted cupcakes at your local grocery store bakery. They will usually sell you green frosting too if you ask and then all you have to do is decorate! Ingredients
- 12 unfrosted cupcakes, any flavor
- Green buttercream frosting (get my Best Buttercream recipe on PartyPinching.com)
- 1M piping tip and disposable icing bag
- White fondant
- Parchment paper
- Assorted Jelly Belly ® jelly beans
Instructions
