This chocolate orange lava cake is so beyond decadent and my recipe is super easy! You’ll be sure to impress your guests or anyone you make this for! It’s constantly requested every time I have a dinner party and if you prefer not to have an orange flavor, just simply omit it or substitute with raspberry or strawberry instead!

YOU WILL NEED:
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
5 Tbs butter
1 Tbs fresh squeezed orange juice
1/2 tsp orange zest
2 whole eggs
2 egg yolks
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 cup flour
Cooking spray
4 (6 oz.) oven safe ramekins

DIRECTIONS FOR CHOCOLATE ORANGE LAVA CAKE:
Spray 4 (6 oz.) ramekins with cooking spray and set aside.
Melt the chocolate chips and butter in the microwave for 30 seconds and stir.
Next, microwave in 15 second increments until everything is smooth. Add the orange juice and zest.
In another bowl, whisk the eggs and egg yolks, slowly add the chocolate mixture while whisking eggs vigorously.
Stir in flour and fill each ramekin 2/3 of the way full. Place the ramekins on a cookie sheet and bake at 450 degrees for 10 minutes. Centers will be concave. (If the centers are puffed, they have baked too long).
Allow to cool for 5 minutes and place a plate on top of the ramekin and flip it over.
Dust with powdered sugar.
