These are the Best Eggnog Cookies because they have a Southern Comfort Whiskey kick! Super easy to make using a box cake mix, these are sure to be a new holiday favorite! Eggnog is one of my favorite beverages for the Christmas season, and my dad used to add a little Southern Comfort Whiskey and Sprite to it. So I decided to try and make it in cookie form and it turned out so good!

You will need:
1 (15.25 oz.) box yellow cake mix
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp nutmeg
1 Tbs eggnog
1/3 cup vegetable oil
2 eggs, whisked
1 Tbs Southern Comfort Whiskey
For icing:
2 cups powdered sugar, sifted
2 Tbs Southern Comfort Whiskey
4 or 5 Tbs Half & Half

First, in a large bowl combine the cake mix, cinnamon and nutmeg.
Next, add the eggs and oil and beat until smooth. Stir in the eggnog and Southern Comfort. Place batter in refrigerator for 20 minutes. This will make is easy to work with since the batter will be sticky.
Now, using a medium spoon, scoop the dough onto a parchment lined cookie sheet.
Then bake 350 degrees for 9-11 minutes. Let cool completely.
Mix together the powdered sugar, the Southern Comfort, and the Half & Half.
Finally drizzle over the cookies and sprinkle with a pinch of nutmeg.
