This is THE BEST Banana Pudding recipe ever! It’s a copycat recipe of the Magnolia Bakery’s Famous Banana Pudding and it seriously is hands-down the best banana pudding I’ve ever had in my life. AND it’s so easy to make!
You will need:
- 1 (14 oz.) can sweetened condensed milk
- 1 1/2 cup ice cold water
- 1 (3.4 oz.) box vanilla instant pudding mix
- 3 cups heavy cream
- about 3 – 4 bananas sliced
- Nilla Wafers
Beat together the sweetened condensed milk and water in a large bowl for about a minute. Next, add the pudding mix and beat for another 2 minutes. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours until set.
Whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form and then fold in the cream into the pudding.
Slice up 3 medium sized bananas
Using a trifle dish or round bowl, spoon about 1/3 of the pudding in the bottom of the dish. Next layer some Nilla wafers on top then add a layer of sliced bananas. Repeat layers and garnish with crushed wafers and whipped cream.
Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for four to six hours. It’s recommended to serve the dessert within 12 hours. Just before serving, top with additional slices of fresh bananas. You can also make individual servings.
