So recently I happened to be munching on a Little Debbie Oatmeal Creme Pie one morning for breakfast (I mean come on, it’s Oatmeal, right?) and I thought it might be a cute idea to make them actually look like breakfast! This is a fun April Fools’ Day Breakfast you can serve your family (after dinner of course) or to your co-workers! (printable recipe below)

To make all of the breakfast items, you will need:
2 Boxes of Little Debbie Oatmeal Creme Pies
White frosting
Green food coloring
Butterscotch hard candy
White, Pink & Orange Royal Icing – click here for the recipe
Rainbow jimmies sprinkles
Yellow Starburst candy
Black sugar sprinkles
Large piping tip or mini round cookie cutter
Syrup
Now I love avocado with on an English muffin with an egg, so I decided to make the “sweet” version. It’s really so simple to do!
First tint some white frosting with a little green food coloring until you get an “avocado” color. Mix well and frost the top of the Oatmeal Creme Pie.
Next pipe on the white royal icing on top of the green frosting to resemble an egg shape.
Immediately add the butterscotch hard candy to the center of the icing.
Sprinkle black sugar sprinkles on top to resemble pepper.
Now we can’t have breakfast without pancakes!
For the pancakes, simply stack 3 of the Oatmeal Creme Pies, adding a little white frosting in between each of them.
Next pour some syrup over the stack.
Top the stack off with a yellow Starburst candy.
Cute donuts are easy to make!
First cut a hole in the middle of the Oatmeal Creme Pie by using a large piping tip or a mini round cutter.
Next tint some royal icing pink if desired (royal icing recipe here) and pipe on the icing on top.
Immediately add rainbow jimmies when the icing is still wet.
Orange slices complete the breakfast!
Tint some royal icing orange and pipe a border around the edge of the Oatmeal Creme Pie. Let icing set.
After icing is set, fill in the top with white icing.
Before the white icing set, pipe on orange triangles to resemble orange segments.
Make small white dots with icing at the top of each triangle.
Over easy eggs so easy to make!
Ice the top of the Oatmeal Creme Pie with white royal icing to resemble and egg white.
Add a butterscotch hard candy immediately.
Now you have a complete breakfast! Hey, oatmeal is a good way to start the day, am I right?
