This is the Absolute Best Fettuccine Alfredo! It’s so simple to make and ready in 15 minutes – my family constantly says it’s better than anything they’ve ever had in a restaurant! It’s THE BEST and super quick and easy to make using just a few ingredients. Perfect for a fast dinner for the family after a game or practice or after a long day at work. Comfort food at it’s best, everyone loves this dish, including me because it’s so easy to make!
You will need:
1 pound cooked fettuccine
6 TB butter
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 ½ cups heavy cream
¼ tsp salt
¾ cup freshly shredded parmesan cheese
¼ tsp ground black pepper

Directions for Absolute Best Fettuccine Alfredo:
Cook pasta according to package instructions
Heat butter in over medium heat in a large skillet, add garlic and cook for 1 minute.
Stir in cream and black pepper and simmer 5-8 minutes , stirring constantly
Add the cheese and whisk until smooth.
Use pasta water to thin sauce if needed
Toss with pasta and garnish with more parmesan cheese and ground black pepper
Change it up a little, use leftovers in the sauce and make it your own! Here are a few suggestions on what you can add:
