These are super simple to make, using just a few ingredients.
You will need:
- Little Debbie Nutty Buddy Wafer Bars
- Yellow frosting (for my BEST buttercream frosting, click here or you can use store-bought)
- White candy melts
- Pink candy melts
- Chocolate chips
Cut off the tip of the Nutty Buddy Wafer Bar on an angle. Repeat on the other side so it resembles a pencil point.
Cover the body of the wafer in yellow buttercream. Let the frosting set and harden.
Melt the pink candy coating according to package instructions. Dip the flat end of the wafer bar into the pink candy coating to resemble an eraser.. Place on parchment paper and let dry completely.
Melt white candy coating according to package instructions. Dip the tip of the wafer bar into the melted candy coating and place on parchment paper to dry completely.
Melt the chocolate chips and dip just the tip of the pencil in the melted chocolate. Place on parchment paper to dry.
Now you have a fun Pencil Wafer Cookie that’s perfect for Back-to School!

Pencil Wafer Cookies
Fun pencil cookies using Little Debbie Nutty Buddy Wafer Bars! Perfect for Back-to School !
Ingredients
- Little Debbie Nutty Buddy Wafer Bars
- Yellow buttercream (see PartyPinching.com for the BEST Buttercream recipe or use store bought frosting)
- Pink candy melts
- White candy melts
- Chocolate Chips
Instructions
- Cut one end of the wafer bar so that it has a pointy tip.
- Frost the body of the pencil with yellow buttercream. Let the frosting set and harden a little.
- Melt pink candy coating according to package instructions. Dip the flat end of the bar into the candy coating. Place on parchment peper to dry completely.
- Melt white candy coating according to package instructions. Dip the pointed end of the bar into the candy coating. Place on parchment paper to dry completely.
- Melt chocolate chips. Dip just the point into the melted chocolate chip. Dry completely.
